Protective Services
WHY STUDY THIS COURSE?
The Protective Services course aims to provide you with the skills, experience and knowledge that will enable you to develop a career in the Uniformed Protective Services such as the Fire Service, the Ambulance Service, Police or armed forces.
You will study a broad range of areas from Leadership and Teamwork, Behaviour and Discipline, Expedition Skills, including taking part in an expedition, and Criminology. This qualification is designed to support learners who are interested in learning about the uniformed protective services sector. It gives them a broad basis of study, designed to support progression to higher education when taken as part of a programme of study that includes other appropriate subjects.This course would go well alongside CTEC Sport and Criminology.

WHERE CAN IT LEAD?
Protective Services and Public Service sector apprenticeships and employment, Higher Education courses including a Policing degree.
