This year’s Annual Movement Festival was our biggest and most energetic yet, with an incredible 235 dancers taking to the stage – a record-breaking turnout that raised the bar for future performances.
The event was a fantastic celebration of talent and creativity. The audience was treated to a wide variety of performances, including cheerleading routines, elegant gymnastics displays, and incredible vocal pieces. Dance styles ranged from ballet to hip hop, with themed routines inspired by Grease and Moulin Rouge adding a theatrical touch that was a real crowd favourite.
Feedback from the audience was overwhelmingly positive, with many describing it as “the best show so far”, reflecting the hard work and dedication of everyone involved. A special mention goes to the staff performers, whose tribute to a well-known pop icon brought plenty of humour and entertainment to the stage.
Above all, well done to the Year 7-13 students, who performed night after night and still returned to school the following day with commitment and resilience.
The festival was a fantastic success, showcasing not only exceptional talent but also a strong sense of community. We are already looking forward to next year’s performances!
