British Gymnastics Championships

Last weekend, Wickersley Sixth Form students, Ava and Abigail, represented the school and the Yorkshire region at the British School’s Gymnastics Championships in Stoke, having previously taken first place in the Yorkshire Championships.

The Under 19 pair performed excellently, and came agonisingly close to a bronze medal, losing out by 0.277 to the pair from Northern Ireland. However, coming fourth in a national competition is still such a fantastic achievement, and they should be extremely proud of themselves.

Well done!
