The Tivolis First Big Gig in Sheffield!
Wickersley 6th form’s band, The Tivolis, have their first big gig at Network in Sheffield! They will be supporting Vivas on Saturday 5th October. Four of the band members are in Sixth Form and the other is a former Sixth Form student! Click here to get your tickets!
Y13 Visit Sheffield Hallam University
Y13 Chemistry students visited Sheffield Hallam University’s outreach labs this week. They synthesised cyclohexene from cyclohexanol, purified and analysed their samples. It is an excellent opportunity for students to use university level equipment not available to schools such as their own fume cupboards, stirrer-hot plates, rotary evaporators, IR and NMR machines.
