Y12 A Level Drama Performances!

Y12 A Level Drama and Theatre students recently performed their Component 1 devised performances for final assessment. They created their pieces in the style of the famous director Mike Leigh, shaping the work through extensive research, rehearsal improvisations and a group scripting process. Congratulations on two excellent performances!

Y12 Geography Fieldwork Trip

Year 12 Geographers conducted the first of their 4 fieldwork days out in the Peak District. Students investigated the sequestration of carbon in peatland moors and Burbage Brook rivers. They worked alongside the Moorland discovery centre at Longshaw Estate, ran by the National Trust.
