Y12 Geography students have recently completed 3 days of fieldwork to help them prepare for their NEA. Students had the opportunity to learn about a wide range of fieldwork techniques and sampling strategies. Despite some close brushes with wildlife, a great time was had by all!

On Thursday 19th May, the external moderator visited from WJEC to check this year’s Y13 NEA product design projects. The visit was a real success with moderator commenting on the quality of the work through such a tough two year period. A group of Y13 Biologists competed in the Biology Olympiad, a country wide competition where students are presented with unfamiliar topics and ideas, and are challenged to employ their problem-solving skills and understanding of core principles.
