Wickersley Sixth Form Tops Rotherham for A-Level Point Score Results

We are incredibly proud to share that Wickersley Sixth Form has once again achieved the highest average A-level point score in Rotherham, according to the Government’s officially published 2025 performance data.

This means that, on average, students who study with us achieve higher grades than those at any other college or sixth form in the local area. It is a fantastic accomplishment for our students and staff, and one that reflects the hard work, resilience and ambition shown across our Sixth Form community.

This marks our third consecutive year of continuous improvement. Each year, our students are making even stronger progress and achieving better outcomes. This consistent upward trend demonstrates the strength of our teaching, the quality of our academic support, and our commitment to ensuring that every student achieves the results they deserve.

At Wickersley Sixth Form, we combine high expectations with outstanding pastoral care. Our experienced subject specialists, dedicated form tutors and comprehensive progression guidance ensure that students are fully supported; whether they are aiming for leading universities, competitive apprenticeships or exciting career pathways.

We are extremely proud of the Class of 2025 and all they have achieved. Their success is a testament to their dedication and to the supportive, aspirational environment that defines Wickersley Sixth Form.
