Y12 Physics Challenge

Last month, some of our Year 12 A-Level Physics students took part in the Online Senior Physics Challenge, organised by the British Physics Olympiad.

The competition consists of two 30-minute sets of multiple-choice questions. These focus on physics concepts while also encouraging wider reading and interest in the subject. It’s a fantastic opportunity for students to take part in a national competition and build their confidence in physics.

We are very proud of how our students performed, with a special mention to Dominic and Ben K for achieving Silver Awards – a brilliant achievement!

Next month, our Year 12 physicists will take part in the Senior Physics Challenge (on paper), which is a more traditional, problem-based set of questions. We wish them all the very best of luck!
