A-Level Physics Competition

Over the last two weeks, Y12 students have been going head-to-head with Y13 in the A-Level Physics competition, the Coulomb Cup, named after the French physicist Charles-Augustin de Coulomb.

The group stage has now concluded, and the top 16 scoring Physics students have progressed to the knockout rounds. Over the final two weeks of the half term, the competition will continue towards the final, where a new Champion Physicist will be crowned.

Amogh, who won the Coulomb Cup last year as a Y12 student, will be hoping to defend his title now in Y13.

We would like to celebrate the following students for reaching the knockout stages and wish them the best of luck: Finn, Dan, Joe, Summer, Dom, Sam, Luke, Amogh, Renee, Alex L, Jake, James, Kaden, Jack, Hunter, and Sidney.

The draw for the knockout stages has been completed, and everyone is excited to see who will progress to the quarter-finals at the end of the week!
