Sixth Form Student Speaks at the House of Commons

On Thursday 6th November, Wickersley Sixth Form student Mabrookah had the remarkable opportunity to speak at the House of Commons as part of the UK Youth Parliament. Representing Rotherham in her role as a Member of Youth Parliament (MYP), Mabrookah contributed to discussions on key issues affecting young people across the country.

She opened the debate on Health, speaking passionately about the importance of early intervention and sharing her own experiences to highlight the impact these measures can have.

The visit to Parliament was an inspiring experience for Mabrookah, who represented her community with confidence and eloquence, demonstrating the power of young voices in shaping the national conversation.
