What a fantastic start to our Sixth Form House Championship. Our first inter-house social event, a rounders tournament with students and teachers, was a big success.

All four Sixth Form houses – Carbo, Chalybs, Ferrum, and Vitrum – showed great teamwork and competitive spirit. After some thrilling matches, Vitrum took 1st place, bagging 500 house points, with Ferrum as a strong runner-up. Well played, everyone.

This rounders tournament is just the beginning of a full calendar of events for the year, including quizzes, chess tournaments, pool competitions, and console championships. There will be plenty of chances for every student to contribute to their house’s success.

The competition is on, and we are already looking forward to seeing which house will win the cup next year.

To our Year 11s joining us in the Sixth Form next year, get ready. We can’t wait to see you get involved and represent your house!
