Y12 Magdalen College Trip

On Wednesday the 12th March, 23 of our Y12 students attended a taster day at Magdalen College at The University of Oxford. Everyone had a great day exploring the surroundings, and gaining insight into studying at a prestigious university. The highlight of the day was having an interactive lecture, delivered by Nobel prize winner Sir Peter Ratcliffe, on topics surrounding his collaborative research into how cells sense and adapt to oxygen availability.

Everyone represented Wickersley Sixth Form fantastically, well done!
