We would like to say a huge congratulations to the Wickersley Sixth Form students who took part in the WPT is 10 Showcase.
The event, which was Wickersley Partnership Trust’s (WPT) biggest cross-Trust collaboration ever, was to celebrate 10 years since Wickersley School and Sports College academised and WPT was formed.
The Showcase took place at Magna Science Adventure Centre last week, with three showings to packed-out audiences, and our students played a huge part in the success of the event.
Well done to the musicians who played in the Face of Steel, those who took part in the guitar duet, the cast of Princess and the Frog, the students whose artwork was displayed in the Art Gallery, and last but not least… Emily, Sophie, Ben and Cole who did a fantastic job as comperes!
We have some incredibly talented, confident and hardworking students in our Sixth Form and it was great to see their work displayed on such a large scale.
