Cambridge Schools Tour Visit Wickersley Sixth Form

Last week our sixth form hosted The University of Cambridge School Tour.

Year 12 students were invited to spend the morning with a representative from The University of Cambridge, learning about the different opportunities that are available at universities across the UK. There was a focus on the most prestigious Russell Group and Oxbridge Universities, how the application process works, and what type of super-curricular activities students should be involved in now, to enter a competitive application in the future.

At Wickersley we are committed to providing our students with the skills and opportunities they need to progress to some of the most highly sought-after onward destinations for both careers and higher education. We are very proud to currently have 3 Year 13 students holding contextual offers for Oxbridge Universities and many more for Russell Group Universities!
