A group of Y13 Biologists competed in the Biology Olympiad, a country wide competition where students are presented with unfamiliar topics and ideas, and are challenged to employ their problem-solving skills and understanding of core principles.
The students completed two 45 minute multiple choice exam papers and were awarded certificates based on their scores.
All students performed admirably, with a special mention to Folasae and Erica who achieved silver certificates and Finn Thompson who was awarded a gold certificate, placing him in the top 5% of students in the country!
