Ellie Thomas has joined the Media Team at Wickersley Partnership Trust to complete her Get Work Ready short-term placement.
Over the next few weeks, she’ll be learning the dos and don’ts of working life, and gaining valuable experience in all things media, marketing and publicity.
Ellie wants to get stuck into different areas of media to put her in good stead for her next steps after Wickersley Sixth Form – either a media apprenticeship or university.
Ellie said: “The Get Work Ready experience will aid my CV to put me ahead of others, and media is important in many jobs so my work experience will show my abilities and understanding.
“I love the Get Work Ready programme as it allows me to see, in-depth, what work I can expect in the future as well as being able to tailor the experience to what I’m looking for.”
